Gluten Free Salmon Fillets Recipe That You Will Love.

Hi everybody! Today, I am sharing my Gluten Free Salmon Fillets Recipe That You Will Love.

This is a simple and tasty (gluten free!!!) dinner recipe, perfect to eat at tea time on a weeknight. The recipe is simple and easy to follow. Honestly, this dish is ideal when cooking dinner for one or perhaps lunch for two.😊😊😊

Salmon is of course healthy and delicious, which is a key reason why I wanted to add my salmon recipe to the blog this week. Whilst I like plain salmon, I love adding a sauce to complement the fish to enhance the flavour. Hence, this week, my post includes the recipe for my sauce too.

Have a good week everybody! Enjoy!!! 😊😊

Tips and Tricks

  • I like to fork the raw salmon fillets before I coat them in the sauce. This helps the sauce to stick and steep into the fish whilst being cooked.
  • As I always say when making a savoury dish, feel free to substitute, switch and add any herb and spice you want. Personally, I like all these herbs and seasonings, as I feel that paprika, pepper and cumin really complement and add to the flavour of the fish.
  • This recipe would still work well if you swapped the salmon for another type of fish like haddock, cod or any other fish substitute.
  • I usually cook this dish for about 40-45 minutes. However, if you would rather have your fish well done, then by all means cook your fish for about an hour. This is determined solely by your own preference and taste though. Always make your food to your own liking!!!

Extra Tips and Tricks

  • You could apply the sauce after the salmon has cooked rather than before it has cooked if you prefer. This decision is of course up to you. Personally I like to add the sauce before as by the time, the salmon is out of the oven I am hungry and ready to eat!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜Š
  • If you want to use another sauce, then that is completely fine too!!! It goes without saying that adding chillis or using a sauce with chillis is a good way to heat this dish up if that is how you like it best.
  • If you would prefer to eat this dish without the cucumber, that would be great too!!! You can always add any salad option to complement this dish, for example spinach, celery, carrots and asparagus.
  • Personally, I can feel that this recipe makes one comfortable dinner serving. However, appetites vary and I am sure this dish could potentially stretch to 2 servings, especially if you eat this for a lighter meal like lunch.

To Add Salt or to Not Add Salt, That is the Question….

It is your choice whether to add salt to the sauce. Personally, I do add a little bit of salt to the sauce to help to bring out all of the flavours of the herbs and seasonings. However, if you don’t want to add the salt to the sauce then that is completely fine as well.

Whether to Add a Pinch of Parsley to the Salmon….

I personally like to add a pinch of parsley to make this dish more colourful and green. However, if you do not partial to parsley or just don’t have it in the cupboard, the extra pinch of parsley will not make much of a difference.
