Epic Quick Gluten-Free Vegan Mango Smoothie that you need to make.
Intro
Summer is the season of the smoothie! I have been making a lot of smoothies recently: (1) because it is so hot, (2) because they are a fantastic sweet treat that are good for you, and (3) because they help to cool you down in this very hot weather. This time, it’s a mango smoothie—simple and delicious. I really love how easy this recipe is. Honestly, it might be my simplest recipe yet. It only uses three ingredients, which makes it quick and beginner-friendly. I might have mentioned this in other smoothie recipes, but it’s worth repeating. I only use frozen fruit—never fresh fruit plus ice. There are a few reasons why I avoid fresh fruit and ice. First, frozen fruit requires no prep, which saves time and effort. It’s an easier way to stay healthy with less hassle. Second, no ice means no annoying shards at the bottom. Ice can water down the smoothie and ruin the texture. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this mango smoothie recipe!

Tips and Tricks
Eyeballing the measurements
- In the equipment list I didn’t add a scale to the list because, whilst for this recipe I have used specific measurements as a guide for anyone who wants to follow the recipe, I do change the recipe all the time depending on whether I want a thicker smoothie (so less yoghurt and less cranberry juice with more mango or strawberries) or if I want a thinner/ runnier smoothie (so more yoghurt and more cranberry juice with less mango or strawberries)
- For this smoothie it was a bit more of a runny consistency, which is a bit strange for me because usually I like a very thick smoothie, so if you are like me normally just make sure to add about half the amount of the cranberry to begin with and then if you need to add more then you can do so❤️❤️❤️

Make sure to add the cranberry juice and the yoghurt last
- This tip really depends on the machine that you are using, as you can see from the picture I am using a nutribullet which means that when I add my ingredients eventually everything will be turned upside down. So, by adding the cranberry juice in last it allows for the juice to not potentially get trapped in the bottom of the machine
- This tip doesn’t really apply if you have got a normal blender (however, maybe it does as I have not used a normal blender for this recipe so who knows😉🤷♀️
Changing the recipe to what suits you
- I know I say it all of the time in my recipes, but I really do mean it when I say that this recipe is just a guide. If you don’t like certain things, or you want to adapt it to suit you, then go on ahead! I think that is one of the best parts about cooking and making food in general, you are really just creating what suits you. There will 100% be hiccups along the way where you make a creation that is a bit dodgy, but it will really just bring you one step closer to a go to recipe that you absolutely love, so make sure to be creative!
Decorations
- I didn’t add anything on top of my smoothie, because (1) I think that smoothies by themselves are a really good stand alone thing and (2) I meant for this recipe to be a go to drink for everyday life (e.g. a breakfast smoothie or a healthy snack). But if you really want to spice up this recipe and add loads of toppings then be sure to add as many as you want. Some suggestions: having some fresh fruit on the side, or you could always convert this recipe into the base of a smoothie bowl and then add granola and nuts to said bowl!
