How To Make Gluten-Free Strawberry Yoghurt Ice Lollies.
Intro
Want something refreshing and easy to make during a heatwave! Look no further! For this week’s post, I am sharing my recipe for delicious Gluten-Free Yoghurt Ice Lollies.
As much as I love a store-bought ice lolly, some have lots of artificial ingredients and preservatives that I would prefer to avoid. My ice lolly recipe requires no added sugar. It requires only 3 ingredients. It is healthy and low fuss.
Plus, I love the natural pink colour that the strawberries give to the ice lollies.
This recipe makes 6 lollies, however you may have to adapt the amounts of the ingredients that you use according to the size of your moulds.
This is a fun, easy-to-make recipe that you can make all summer! Have fun!🍓❄️🍓❄️

Tips and Tricks
- Feel free to use any type of fruit that you want. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits, but please use the fruit that you have available to you or the fruit that you like the most.
- If you want to add oats to the yoghurt ice lollies, then that could make them crunchy if you like something a bit textured!!!
- I use a nutribullet as a blender, but please use whatever brand of blender that you have available to you. If you don’t have a blender, you can use a food processor. Ideally, it is best to use a blender. (Disclaimer: everything shown in this article I bought myself, my thoughts and opinions are my own and this is not an advertisement just my honest opinion. Please buy things at your own discretion.)
- If you want to enjoy the ice lollies with a more substantial snack like biscuits, then feel free to do so. If you are looking for a high-quality gluten free cookie recipe ideal for biscuit-dunging then look at my Gluten Free Oat Biscuit/ Cookie Traybake Recipe.

Advice on the mould
Try to buy a mould that is silicone as it is generally easier to detract ice lollies from a silicione mould than a plastic mould. If you use a plastic mould, it is my recommendation to use BPA-free plastic. Ultimately, use whatever mould that you have access to/ what you think is best.
Not a fan of (vanilla) yoghurt?
I like to add a gluten-free (vanilla) yoghurt to my ice lollies as it gives them a creamer texture. As one of the most common (and delicious) yoghurt flavours, I like to use vanilla yoghurt. In this case of making strawberry ice lollies, find that the vanilla flavour is very neutral and does not overpower the flavour of the strawberries. However, feel free to use another flavour of yoghurt, even plain, if that is your preference. Adapt the smoothie ingredients as you see fit!
As this recipe is geared towards making yoghurt ice lollies, the yoghurt part is obviously important. But if you want to make ordinary ice lollies sans yoghurt then that is up to you.
A Pinch of Salt?
There are two types of people in this world: people who like salt in desserts and people who don’t. I am mainly with the second group of people. Though if you feel that adding a pinch of salt to the yoghurt ice lollies would make a difference then do it. Everybody has a different palate, so cater to your own likes.
