How To Make Gluten-Free Mint Choc Chip Vegan Milkshake.
It’s gluten free, vegan milkshake time! My How To Make Gluten-Free Mint Choc Chip Vegan Milkshake recipe is a dairy-free and gluten-free twist on one of the most summery drinks of them all! The whole recipe is low-fuss and designed to cool you down quick now the the temperature is climbing. 🌡️🌡️🌡️
As a milkshake requires no cooking/ baking, it really goes make for a perfect summer dessert. It is also really quick to make meaning less time in the kitchen and more in the sun!!!☀️
Mint choc chip is my favourite ice cream flavour, which is why I choose to make mint chocolate the central flavour of my recipe. It is so refreshing that it really adds to the cooling effect that ice cream has.
As someone who is mildly intolerant to lactose, I like to eat dairy-free ice creams where I can, hence why this recipe is for a gluten-free, vegan milkshake.
This recipe is designed to be chocolatey, rich and decadent. I consider it to be a VIP treat. In terms of servings, I would class it as 1-2 servings because I know whenever I make a vegan milkshake that the VIPs in my life force me to share it.

Tips and Tricks
- It goes without saying that is you don’t care about the milkshake being a vegan version, then you can use dairy ice cream instead of the dairy-free, plant-based ice cream that I used.
- If you prefer another flavour of gluten-free, vegan ice cream to mint choc chip (which is my favourite), then use the other flavour instead! One of the classic ice cream flavours, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla, in particular may make a good alternative.
- A blender is the ideal tool to blend the milkshake. However, if you don’t mind if the mixture is less consistent, then you can always manually stir the ingredients of the milkshake together.
- If you want to add a gluten-free and vegan chocolate sauce to the milkshake, then by all means do so!!!
- Again if you want to add extra decorations like gluten-free sprinkles, have fun with it!
- If you are not vegan, you can always put whipped cream on the top of the milkshake and then add decorations to this!
- With additions, the possibilities are endless!!! ♾️
Where I find gluten-free, vegan ice cream

For this recipe, I use Plant Based Mint Choc Chip Ice Cream from Marshfield Farm. They sell a wide variety of ice cream flavours and their ice creams generally have a high quality taste. As I really like the ice creams and sorbets from Marshfield Farm, I reviewed a selection of their ice creams last year. If you want to read my review, click here.

Storage
The Gluten-Free Mint Choc Chip Vegan Milkshake can be potentially stored for up to 2 days when stored in an air-tight container in a fridge.
Additionally, this is just guidance. So, if it looks a bit dodgy, you don’t like the look of it or if it has been out for a while, then unfortunately, I think that is one for the bin. When it comes to cooking and baking a bit of common sense will go a long way. It is always better to be safe than sorry. Additionally, when storing always use an air-tight container, otherwise these times do not apply.
