Ingredients
  

Brownie Ingredients

  • 190 g Flour
  • 150 g Coconut Oil Coconut oil should be firm, not liquid
  • 200 g Brown Sugar
  • 150 ml Vegan Milk I used almond milk
  • 60 g Cocoa Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 150 g Macadamia Nuts
  • 140 g Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate

Toppings (Optional)

  • 75 g Macadamia Nuts
  • 40 g Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate I chose milk chocolate, but feel free to use dark or white chocolate

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180oC (160oC fan)
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper
  • Mix together all of the dry ingredients (flour, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder) - hold off from adding the chocolate and macadamia nuts until the end)
  • Next, create a little divot in the centre of the now mixed dry ingredients, and then add the wet ingredients (coconut oil, vegan milk, and vanilla extract)
  • Give everything a thorough mixing together, and then fold into the mixture the macadamia nuts and (chopped into chunks) gluten free vegan chocolate
  • Put the mixture into the parchment-lined baking dish and then add the macadamia nuts and (chopped into chunks) gluten free vegan chocolate as toppings - the toppings are totally optional, but greatly appreciated
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes
  • Cool, and then cut into squares
